I am a thoughtful and experienced colorist who thrives at the crossroads of art, science and technology.
Having studied art and film and spent years behind the lens as a photographer, I bring an artistic sensibility, resourceful attitude and technical rigour to all of my projects – I aspire to make the process enjoyable while delivering on vision.
I have worked in the film industry for over 12 years – getting my start as a stills photographer, then editor and compositor before seizing the opportunity to become a colorist in 2006. Since then, I have set my sights on a rapidly growing collection of feature, series and commercial projects, including Hollywood heavy hitters like Elysium, Chappie and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, animated features like Kahlil Gibran’s ‘The Prophet’ and award-winning documentaries like Koneline: Our Land Beautiful.
I have a genuine interest in my projects and have a team-driven attitude. I know how to read a room and focus energy to develop and refine the feel of a film – helping directors, cinematographers and producers to (re)find their voice during an often-chaotic and deadline driven post production process.
